Roland Milling Station MDX500
This medium scale milling machine can cut 2 and 2.5D objects from digital data in a range of medium and low density materials such as hardboards, plywood, resin boards and Styrofoam. Some soft sheet metals can also be engraved and cut.
Maximum cutting zone: 500x330mm
Compatible file formats: STL DXF
It is particularly useful for cutting materials which do not require lubricants or coolants. Working through the Mayka software it allows accurate and straight forward milling of digitally modelled forms or 2.5D relief surfaces developed from greyscale images.
