2D Digital Production Kit
The laser cutter enables cutting or engraving of 2D sheet material from CAD data. A wide range of materials can be cut to a variety of depths, depending on the material's qualities. including, paper, fabric, card, thin ply, acrylic sheet.
Maximum cutting zone: 990x730mm
Most commonly used file formats: Adobe Illustrator and CorelDraw. This is a relatively simple piece of equipment to use and facilitates quick and accurate production of highly complex 2D design work.

:P Katie has used the cutting and scoring capabilities of this equipment to produce these cardboard vans from flat sheets of printed card.

:P Katie has used this equipment to cut a pattern into acrylic sheet which, through a series of moulding processes, was wrapped onto a ceramic beaker to produce a high relief decorative surface. The same bunny has been used to cut Kerafol ceramic sheet.
