Shapehand +
Also called a 'dataglove', this piece of equipment was designed for use in the film and animation industry.
The Shapehand + is based on the technology of motion capture and records the movement of the arm, hand and fingers of the wearer using fibre optics: the change in current created as the fibres bend enables movement to be measured.
The Shapehand + was launched by its Canadian manufacturer, Measurand in July 2005.
